# Here's a guide on how to create a backup

## Create a Backup

Navigate to the Dashboard. Select the Volumes option. Click on Volumes.

Select the volume you want to back up.

### Select the Create backup

After clicking on the VM, scroll down and click "Create Backup".

### Backup requirement

Backup Information-:-> Nam&#x65;**:** MyBackup

Descriptio&#x6E;**:** This backup contains all the critical data for the application, including user data, application settings, and system configurations.

Container Name: AppDataBackupContainer

## Verify the backup status&#x20;

After creating the backup, navigate to the Volume section and select the backup option
