# Connect Veeam Backup Gateway With Neevcloud Storage

## Veeam Backup connects to NeevCloud Storage

Veeam Backup and Replication is a comprehensive data protection and disaster recovery solution that protects virtual, physical, and cloud-based workloads.

Download and Install Veeam on your system by following these [links](https://www.veeam.com/products/veeam-data-platform/backup-recovery.html).

### Add Backup Repository:

After installation, open Veeam Backup & Replication. Navigate to Veeam, select Backup Repository, and click on Backup Repositories.

Follow the wizard to configure the repository settings.

Right-click on Backup Repositories and select Add Backup Repository.

Select the type of backup repository you want to add.

Select the type of object storage you want to use as a backup repository.

Select the type of S3-compatible storage you want to use as a backup repository

Type a name and description.

Specify the service point, region, and credentials. Instructions for obtaining these credentials are mentioned in the prerequisite section.

Specify the object storage bucket name mentioned in the prerequisite section on how to create it.

Select and create a folder

Update the mount server configuration accordingly.

After applying all the configurations, you should see a message indicating success.
